Introduction to NearLink Company ID

The NearLink Company ID (Company ID) is a unique identifier allocated to corresponding members after application request by member units and review by the International SparkLink Alliance. The NearLink Company ID is 16 bits in length and can be used for:

During device discovery, the ID can be carried in the public information of the discovered party to indicate the manufacturer to which the discovered party belongs. The discovering party can perform device filtering based on the NearLink Company ID.

Through the NearLink Company ID, manufacturer private data can be further carried, indicating manufacturer-specific services and enabling service filtering.

Application Requirements

The NearLink Company ID can only be obtained after the applying organization submits an application. Before submitting a formal written application, the applying organization should ensure:

1. The organization has been accepted as a member organization by the International SparkLink Alliance;

2. The membership is valid and no application for alliance membership withdrawal has been submitted;

3. The Organization fulfills the obligations of an alliance member and has paid all fees related to the applying organization (including but not limited to membership fees, testing fees, and other fees for applying for paid NearLink identifiers).

Application Process

After confirming that the application requirements specified in Chapter 2 are met, the applying organization should submit the application via email to: test@sparklink.org.cn, with the email subject as "NearLink Company ID Application - Full Name Of Affiliation".

Note: The International SparkLink Alliance only accepts company ID applications sent from the member's reserved contact email.

We will process the application within 10 working days after receiving the email and notify the application acceptance result via email. The allocated NearLink Company ID will be published in the public list on the International SparkLink Alliance website within 5 working days after the notification email is sent.
