SC:ORE: a program by UNODC in collaboration with the IOC

Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic values play a fundamental role in building safer communities and preventing violence and crime among young people. This crucial mission was highlighted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), during a special event held on 2023 in Vienna as part of the 32nd session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ).

A joint initiative of the IOC with the UN - Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), supporting the use of sport as an effective tool for preventing youth violence and crime.

The Education Programme GEN26 of Milano Cortina 2026 is part of this initiative and implements every recommendation and preventive measure in favor of younger generations.
