I'mPOSSIBLE: Education and Inclusion

I’mPOSSIBLE tells the story and evolution of the Paralympic Movement and aims to raise awareness — especially among younger generations — about the rights of people with disabilities.

It was presented in Cortina d’Ampezzo during the "One Year to Go" event for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games, on 6 March 2025. Italian students can explore the Paralympic Movement in depth in the lead-up to the 2026 Winter Games.

The Cortina d’Ampezzo event featured Andrew Parsons, President of the International Paralympic Committee, Luca Pancalli, Vice President of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation and President of the Italian Paralympic Committee, Andrea Abodi, Minister for Sport, and Paolo Grue, President and CEO of Procter & Gamble.

On the occasion of the I’mPOSSIBLE toolkit launch, the new Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Ambassadors were introduced — an exceptional group of athletes strengthening the team of Games’ ambassadors:

Multi-medalist Martina Caironi (Athletics), René De Silvestro (Cross-Country skiing), Andrea Macrì, Gabriele Lanza, and Alessandro Andreoni from the national Para Ice hockey team at Beijing 2022, Paralympic Swimming champion Simone Barlaam, Lorenzo Bernard with guide Davide Plebani (Cycling), Giacomo Bertagnolli with guide Andrea Ravelli (Alpine skiing), Orietta Bertò (Wheelchair curling), Antonio Fantin (Swimming), Giulia Ghiretti (Swimming), Giuseppe Romele (Cross-Country skiing), and Giada Rossi (Table tennis).

The I’mPOSSIBLE toolkit is a key legacy of the Games and will be available to all students in Italy through a dedicated request form at the bottom of this page. Stay tuned to this page for updates on publication!
