The Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad aims to involve the cultural community in an open, participatory project that focuses on artists, entities and organisations, enhancing the cultural and artistic excellence of Italy under the banner of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. This calendar of artistic and cultural initiatives will enliven Italy on the road to the Games, culminating in 2026 in an exciting and captivating programme

To apply to take part in the Cultural Olympiad by submitting a project, fill in the related documentation (on the dedicated section of the website) and submit your initiative to the Organising Committee. If it is deemed appropriate, it will be included in the programme and you will receive the related logo, which is indispensable for conveying your participation in the Cultural Olympiad and appearing officially on the website and in communications. This procedure constitutes a voluntary expression of interest from those authorized to produce cultural and artistic initiatives for projects that are already established or in the process of being finalized (with a defined date, location, and budget) in order to obtain the logo of the Cultural Olympiad (not the Milano Cortina 2026 logo or the Olympic Rings). It does not represent a competition and does not provide any financial contributions for the realization of the initiative.
Any subject qualified to produce artistic, cultural and creative initiatives — for example, cultural entities, artists, curators, designers, creators — can present a project.
The initiative can involve any disciplinary or interdisciplinary topic, provided that:
• it enhances and promotes the values of the Olympics Paralympics and Milano Cortina 2026, and respects the Olympic Charter;
• it reflects the topics promoted by the Cultural Olympiad;
• it respects the content and format requirements.
Once the concession of the sub-brand is confirmed and based on acceptance of the general terms for using the sub-brand and respect for the principles in the Olympic Charter, the selected projects will officially be included in the Cultural Olympiad and will receive the following benefits:
• permission to use the Cultural Olympiad logo according to the specific rules illustrated in the related manual;
• inclusion in the list of initiatives supported by the Cultural Olympiad;
• presence in Milano Cortina 2026 communication channels, such as the interactive map, website and social media channels.
Affiliation with the Cultural Olympiad does not imply financial support for the initiative.
After sharing the initiative with Milano Cortina 2026 through the form, if there is interest, Fondazione will directly contact applicants for further details, and potentially, to proceed with the inclusion of the initiative in the schedule.
