We urge the United States to immediately cease its blockade and sanctions against Cuba, as well as any form of coercion or pressure. Cuba's independent and self-reliant efforts to pursue its legitimate right to development and achieve revitalization must not be obstructed. China will, as always, firmly support Cuba's just struggle to safeguard its sovereignty, security and development interests, and will continue to provide assistance to Cuba within its capabilities in its own way.
