Thoughts on wybot for a new robotic vacuum? by Justmenow32 in swimmingpools

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wybot is fine for the price but kinda hit or miss. nautilus/dolphin are more consistent if you just want less hassle. i tried a mova recently and it was actually pretty solid too. think they’ve got a new pool cleaner coming soon, might be worth checking…

Pool biz owner here…question for the techs out there. How do your employers pay you….per pool, per hour…. If so, how much. I have two techs making 16/per pool and 18/per pool….is anyone making more than that at their current tech job? Just trying to get a feel for the current market by [deleted] in swimmingpools

talked to a few guys locally and yeah pay varies a lot. one friend switched to robots (using mova) and said it cut down a ton of manual vacuuming. less time per stop = way easier days. think they’ve got a new pool cleaner coming soon too.

Looking for an affordable robotic pool cleaner. by maxxrobi in swimmingpools

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly at $200, manual is still the better move. robots start making sense in the mid-range. tried a mova at a buddy’s place and it was decent for the price. think they’ve got a new pool cleaner coming soon too, might be worth waiting a bit.

I'm looking at buying the omni x1 plus or turbo? What's users feedback on either of them. Or should I stay away from ecovacs? by Kuttappan88 in ecovacs

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally i ended up going with a mova instead of ecovacs/roborock, and it’s been pretty low-drama, easy setup, just runs, and handles daily fur/dust without much fuss.

Almost year ago I bought Electrolux PUREi9. Now they multiplicated. (It had some early software issues but now I’m really happy with it) by cepeen in homeautomation

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had some early quirks with mine too (different brand, i’m on a mova) but after updates it’s been smooth. kinda wild how much better they get over time.

First-time robot vacuum buyer — worth investing in the S8 MaxV Ultra or save some cash? by corsaroe in Roborock

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for your setup, the s8 maxv ultra might honestly be overkill. i was in a similar spot and almost went roborock, but ended up with a mova instead. daily vacuum and mop has been super hands-off. dog hair gets handled fine, and i barely touch the thing besides refilling water.

Try AIROBO P20 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Now: Really Good House- Cleaning Helper by AIRROBO in AIRROBO

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if anyone’s looking around black friday, i’d compare a few brands instead of jumping on one promo. i was between airrobo, roborock and dreame before. ended up with a mova and it’s been solid for everyday dust + hair

Should I buy Roborock Q7 Max+? If not, what should I buy to the price range? by [deleted] in Roborock

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

roborock q7 max+ is a solid choice but if you want something a bit more set-and-forget with strong pet-hair performance and good value, consider mova, it’s been getting strong hands-on reviews lately.

Roborock Curv 2 Flow by Neat-Tennis-8492 in RobotVacuums

i had something similar on an older ecovacs and it turned me off roller mops for a while. ended up switching to a mova with rotating pads instead and the finish has been way more even

Best Robot Vacuum without mop washing and preferably bagless? by Ellemeffe in RobotVacuums

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

roborock is solid, but yeah the dustbags add up. that’s partly why i skipped it. i ended up with a mova model that’s bagless and it’s been less hassle long term. just empty, rinse filter, done.

2026 Best Robot Vacuum With Great Obstacle Avoidance You Can Buy by alezin2020 in RobotVacuums

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve tried a couple, roborock and dreame at friends’ places and they’re solid. i’m using a mova at home and honestly the object detection has been surprisingly good. it goes around cables and random clutter without getting stuck every run, which was my biggest annoyance with older robots.

Hey guys I need some help choosing a robot vacuum by Ok_Row2114 in ecovacs

[–]MiladHusaain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was choosing between similar tier models and ended up with a mova. mostly tiles here too, plus shedding dog, and it’s been super low effort. auto empty and refill dock means i barely touch it. hair tangles haven’t been bad either.

Lefant M210 Review: This Robot Vacuum Won't Fix Your Life, But It Might Clean Your Floors by Infinite-Barracuda97 in carverscave

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a lefant before upgrading. for the price it’s fine, especially for hard floors. but once i wanted better mapping and less random bumping around, i switched. ended up with a mova and it just feels more “grown up” if that makes sense. smarter navigation, less babysitting.

XCLEA Vacuum Robot app Error fix by Leading_Oven3919 in RobotVacuums

[–]MiladHusaain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stuff like this is kinda why i moved away from smaller/less supported brands. had a similar app issue before and switched to a mova later on and the app side has been way more stable so far. not perfect, but no region/account gymnastics at least. I
