On Priyom it says this:

"On March 20th, in addition to the bubble jammer, V32 started being targeted by an unidentified, presumed new "jammer": a continuous 1000 Hz tone transmitted in AM."

A website that researches and catalogs number stations. You can visit their website for more info.

This just popped up in my feed and now I’m excited. I received a shortwave radio when I was a kid because, rather oddly, I fell in love with BBC world service and I’d often hear them broadcast SW frequencies, and not wanting to miss out on my shows, I was given a radio and aerial so I could tune in.

That’s when I discovered numbers stations. They were so creepy and fascinating to me. I started tracking all the stations and times of broadcast, and had a notebook with all the details written down.

Fast forward 27 years and I found the radio when going through boxes at my parent’s place.

I’m going to start tuning in to see if I can find some again. It seems as though there may be more activity like this with everything going on at the moment.

Sorry - I know this has nothing to do with this post - but I just wanted to say thanks for renewing my interest!!

Same here. Received only the 1kHz tone on my Kenwood R-1000 yesterday. I'm located in Germany, so it must be quite strong to overpower V32 from such a distance.

Yes that’s what I was thinking especially picking this up here in Florida it must be strong wherever it’s coming from

Supuestamente V32 se origina desde alemania y el jamming también. Según se publicó en la red de faceboot de HF UNDERGROUND.Pero este nuevo no sé

Interesting. I don't know about the jamming originating from here. It did sound rather warbled and distorted, so either the jammer also has a relatively weak power or it's from Iran.

Gran pregunta.Al estar tan alejado de esas latitudes (argentina)dependo por completo del uso de Sdr en linea

[–]FuckedTaxpayer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure on phone but online you can use a variety of publicly available Web SDRs to tune in!

You can't hear them at all anymore. They stopped broadcasting last week.
