I enjoy listening to Digital Foundry's videos in the background occasionally but lately it's been nothing but Switch 2 and PS5 Pro coverage. 2 systems that no one's buying hence why Sony is sending out messages begging people on PS4 to upgrade to their $1,000 console even though we're in a recession and Nintendo is cutting production on Switch 2 by over 30%. Most of the hardcore gamers are already on or are moving to PC and the vast majority of the mainstream and casuals are on base PS5 or PS4 or Switch 1 and mostly playing old games or free to plays with no intention of upgrading until their current hardware dies or Fortnite stops supporting it. Only thing PC related they've even mentioned lately is about monitors and DLSS 5 AI slop. This is all so boring to me. Maybe there's really just nothing noteworthy to talk about anymore. I've been losing interest in the internet as a whole lately for various reasons anyway. I've been focused on spring cleaning, organising my food pantry and redoing my kitchen for those wondering where I've been.

I'm happy to announce that I've bought a new computer for recording and live streaming and it will be arriving this weekend. I've already put my current MSI laptop in my bedroom to replace my ancient Dell. It is completely retired now. Long live my MSI computers! Here's what I got. I paid $550 for it. Normally goes for $900. Good deal. The price since I've ordered it has already gone back up by $100 lol.

Xbox just raised the price of game pass ultimate to $30 per month. They also changed the name of its tiers (Yes, again) Then there's me who cancelled Game pass 2 years ago and owns over 300 games on Xbox so I pay $0 a month to play. This generation is already over I'm just going to stick to what I have at this point. Imagine paying $30 a month to rent mostly shovel ware and slop. Good Lord.
