This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal.
This thread is monitored daily for new appeals. All appeals will be responded to. We try to respond via batch posts at regular intervals. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.
The Forum Rules apply here.
Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't spam the thread about your appeal, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses.
- Since each appeal deserves careful consideration, it may sometimes take a while before you receive a reply. Please be patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Ok then, only the poster of the trope can launch that trope. The only time an exception can occur is if the original poster gives someone else express permission, and even then, only if at least 5 more people upvote the suggestion than those who bomb it. Also, I have noticed that a lot of the time, people will give exact timetables of when the trope is being launched. Also, I have learned how to format things appropriately with setting up tropes. With laconic, it’s supposed to be a brief description of the trope, you are not rewriting the trope with actual spacing
Shut off Edit Banned posting for The Cajun Phoenix and Link Mario Samus because their appeals were already denied.
"Also, the letter Q? Get rid of it."Good morning, I’ve noticed that my editing permissions have been revoked, and I’d like to know what I did wrong and what I can do to resolve it. Thank you, and I’m sorry for any problems or inconvenience I may have caused.
So, according to the example indentation page, a third bullet usually indicates a discussion? And there should never be one on it's own. So when I added that bit about Viper not learning his lesson on the Gladiators page, it should've just been put on the same line I was following up instead of a third level bullet? I'll do that when I'm allowed to edit again if nobody does that first.
Sorry if I'm being too impatient, but i would really like to know why my editing privileges have been revoked, If there is something that i have done wrong, what can i do to fix it, and when would you let me edit again.
VenomousCanine329 attempted ban evasion and has been bounced.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I was banned for something? I don’t know how things work because I’m ignorant and oblivious. How long will my ban last, and what should I even do?
Also, I’m not that good at things always. I don’t know..
Why am I making excuses?? Why am I always doing this??
Yes, I promise my account is completely secure. I promise that I will make sure that no one can get into my account from here on out. Just please let me talk with you, okay?

Whatever you ask me to do, whatever you want me to do, I will do it. I will. I’m not sure I even want to do any more editing for a long time just because I’m so afraid of getting any more trouble. Just please respond.
Well, my views of reality and fictional was far from understanding what’s real and what’s fictional. I didn’t know any better about tropes because I was oblivious to Tv Tropes.
Should I even add a trope link on my post or no? I hope I will learn from this and don’t make mistakes like this ever again.
I also like Tv Tropes.

Well, I imagine that avoiding my opinions means eliminating the use of expressions like "hate," "masochist," and "idiot," and simply admitting that cartoon characters act bizarrely, without labeling their psychology. Yes, I'm willing to do that.
But it's also worth remembering that there are certain sections of the site that allow for freer expression of opinion and imagination, such as Fridge Brilliance, WMG, and Alternative Character Interpretation. Obviously, this doesn't mean a free pass to write anything random, and when one of my edits is reverted, I should just accept it and move on.
I also apologize for being rude to a forum user. Generally, I don't use forums, so I shouldn't have any problems discussing things with users in the future.
