Heat-Mechanicalism is the idea that states that heat is derived from the vibration of atoms. Unlike caloric theory, it states that heat transfer is the exchange of vibrational energy from the particles of the hotter object to the particles of the cooler object. Gases would have very fast-moving particles, which would speed up at higher temperatures. In other words, heat is the kinetic/vibrational energy of particles.
How to Draw
- Draw a circle.
- Make the background dark red.
- Draw a small four-toothed gear in the middle.
- Draw a small fire coming out of that gear.
- Draw the eyes.
Relations
Friends
Newtonism - Joule proved that heat is caused by mechanical energy.
Moleculeism - Molecules vibrate back and forth, that is thermal energy!
Mainstream Idea Jingoism - Thank you for attacking caloricism!

Chemistocracy - Why did you think caloric theory was good in the first place?
Enemies
Caloricism - There is no heat liquid!
Alternative Idea Jingoism - Find a way to prove that Joule got it wrong and I'll eat my hat.
