Not to defend the Trump administration forcing a university to provide a list of names of Jewish faculty and staff, but it definitely does grind my gears that THIS action (which is ostensibly being done as part of an investigation into antisemitism on campus but is still a terrible idea and a dangerous precedent) is what has non-Jews on the Left who “care about human rights” all talking about antisemitism, but when our synagogues are attacked and our children are assaulted, they’re all silent at best and justifying it as “antizionist not antisemitic” at worst.
