The combination of the vagueness of a term like "sexual abuse" and internet surveys where anybody can easily lie about the experiences they have allows feminists to push an women are being treated horribly by our society. "sexual abuse" as a term on it's on could literally vary from something as severe as rape to someone as minor as someone slightly glancing at a woman's ass. Within these surveys they rarely if ever actually define the terms for what there are asking even "sexual assault" can be vague as once again the different between rape and someone accidently touching you in public are massive.
Which leads to another problem of many women believing stuff that isn't sexual assault is sexual assault like being convinced by man to have sex because he was "begging" or regretting consensual sex after having it. This combined with the fact that some woman would just lie (as their are no personal consequences) makes these "studies" on reliable for any real data on sexual assault/rape/abuse.
Feminists then compare this faulty data to actually criminal arrest records and instead of concluding that the data is faulty or something is wrong with the data they just assume that society is not arresting most sexual predators with even questioning their own logic. They might point the recent Epstein stuff again without questioning their own logic, Are most sexually predators insanely rich? No because most people are not insanely rich and feminists themselves think that 1/9 men could be rapists (which is also based on their faulty data)
The Truth is whether you are a man or a woman you are more likely to have someone steal from you than to be raped, This is backed by crime statistics instead of faulty survey data.
