ICYMI: With the declaration last night, March 24, the Philippines is now effectively both under a "𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆" and "𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆."
The country still reels with the effects of the devastating typhoon season last 2025, and now face another "soon-to-be" crisis on oil.
Both declarations are effective for one year, unless officially lifted earlier.
