What a screwed up day. Bear with me.
Yes, there is an official Roblox game being worked on; I'm actually a big Roblox fan and play it a lot with my kids. But the fact that this was released today is one of the most baffling, insane, things to ever happen in my ten years of working on FNAF.
This is a game in its infancy; temp assets; temp gameplay, unfinished everything. The fact that it got dropped today suddenly on the public just blows my mind.
Apparently there was a huge misunderstanding when I approved a skin, and it was interpreted as RELEASE THE GAME.
I obviously took the game down immediately. So despite how difficult it might be to overlook this... well, no, I don't think this can be overlooked. It was a huge blunder.
I will fix in 2024. Again, I hope everyone can at least believe me when I say that this was a game in its testing phases and was in no way ready to be released to the public. I, myself, have never even played it yet. So again, catastrophic misunderstanding, and I apologize. Will fix.
Since the game is clearly inspired by Dead by Daylight maybe consider getting in contact with Behaviour Interactive to add a fnaf character to dbd. Fans have been requesting it for years

You won't see this, but if you're willing to do a collab on a platform like Roblox, you should consider Dead by Daylight as well. That is probably the most asked for license in Dead by Daylight's massive community and would be a better investment & narrative and visual treatment for the franchise.
They do amazing and 100% accurate treatments of other video game, television show, and movie IPs and even on a narrative standpoint incorporate them great with, what I assume to be, close interaction with the IP holder. Please if you haven't already, reach out to the company behind it, they would be more than willing and FNaF fans have been banking on this collaboration for years.

From the bit of the game i’ve played (literally one game) the game feels like a copy of dead by daylight as someone who’s wanted springtrap in dead by daylight since i started playing this is really disheartening to see since it tells me that there’s no chance springtrap will be joining dbd anytime soon due to this game i’m really hoping this isn’t the case but from the looks of things it seems like FNAF x DBD isn’t happening anytime soon
Sorry man, but these people are competent to do anything right. AI art, the Metaverse, microtransactions everywhere. These people are not who you should trust with this series.
Hey Scott, big fan here. Can we please get less or no micro transactions at all in the game and more optimization for the mobile players? The graveyard map makes the game run reaaally slow in 4GB ram devices.
Anything can claim to be official. But I strongly doubt Scott would shadow drop something like this. Unless he makes an announcement, I very much doubt this is official content.

Finding out that an official FNaF multiplayer Roblox game was released and then taken down in less than two hours, that it was a DBD clone with stolen fan art and designs in it, and seemed like it was trying to be a sequel to FNaF AR when it came to plot. That alone in itself is bizarre.
But to then find out a few minutes afterwards that it wasn't even meant to release and somehow Scott approving a skin was taken as "RELEASE THE GAME". Like words can not describe how confused I am, am I even sure I got out of bed this morning? Cause it sure doesn't feel like I did.

It's hard being a fan of this franchise dude, I know quality control has always been an issue but this is literal shovelware-tier DBD asset flip garbage and I can't believe it's been approved as an official product.
Mhm, thats VERY ODD. I doubt Scott would shadow drop something like this, and tbh, on roblox of all platforms (i am a roblox player too xD). And with the current UGC situation (that idk if Scott is aware), i doubt he would licences an official Roblox and not try to adress the countless robux costing UGC FNaF items. Unless we get an official statement, i don’t think i believe this.

Thanks, Scott. Glad to hear it. Just a request: cut down on the microtransactions. That was probably the most atrocious part of what we've seen.
