An Excellent IQ Test Based on CHC Methodology.

Alfred Binet developed the first practical intelligence test in 1905 to identify French schoolchildren who needed educational assistance. The modern concept of Intelligence Quotient (IQ) was later introduced by William Stern in 1912, representing the ratio of mental age to chronological age, multiplied by 100. Today's IQ tests have evolved significantly, using statistical norming rather than the original ratio method. Modern IQ tests measure various cognitive abilities including abstract reasoning, processing speed, working memory, and verbal comprehension. While IQ scores correlate with academic performance and certain life outcomes, they represent only one aspect of human intelligence and do not measure creativity, emotional intelligence, practical skills, or many other important capacities.

Our philosophy is that an online IQ assessment should be based on established psychometric principles. This is why we took several months to conduct a comprehensive baseline study, with input from professionals experienced in cognitive assessment.

Note: This assessment is optimized for measuring IQ scores within the typical range (70-145). It is not specifically designed to differentiate between profoundly gifted individuals in the 145-160 range, as such extreme scores require specialized testing instruments and clinical evaluation.
