yeah definitely not...ive been to multiple hospitals in china and never seen a single non-chinese person. non-chinese would go to hong kong (if they can afford it) for proper care. and yes, in china it still happens that you may need some connections (guanxi as you should know) or a hongbao to get the right doctor (specialist)...don't act like that doesn't happen. i've even paid a doctor (in a hospital) to write me a note to cancel my return ticket (airfare) and she didn't give a flying f and said sure thing. i've heard of quite a few botched operations from close friends and ive experienced the embarrassing diagnoses from doctors in tier 1 cities (wouldnt even dare going to a tier 2 or worse hospital). id rather my doctor use google to double check something than whatever delusional system china still follows. there's a reason why they import higher tech medical equipment into china.

taiwans healthcare would actually be good but youre kidding yourself to think China's healthcare can compare with the US (or youve never actually been to a chinese hospital).
