Re:Birth: A Slow Burn LitRPG Mage Regressor

The start was enjoyable , the first 25 chapters were well paced and the individual relationships were being nicely explored.

Then everything fell apart , suddrnly everything turned into hyperspeed . Instead of every day being important whole weeks went away .

The entire cisco story line felt rushed and just messy , the dungeon was even worse .

And after that , everything stayed a mess , such important things happened that werent fleshed out and it felt like "Boom wosh bam!" was elongated into a story arc .

Overall , i'm very disappointed at the horrible wuality decline , maybe a second rewrite is in order , where things arent abondaneded constantly , would help with the feeling of 5 different genre crashing into 1 aswell 

Well, this is very much in the middle of the "Harry Potter feels" range. No, I wouldn't say that it's stealing anything from that series, but it's very firmly in the middle of the genre. It's decently exciting, the characters aren't terrible but if I had to pick one annoyance it would be the challenge level of encounters, so to speak.

I would have expected it to start off with getting used to the setting, social stuff with 'fellow kids', building up mysteries then dramatic finish to the first book but this guy is getting into end game battles early on with fairly flimsy pretexts.

Because he is seriously over-powered compared to his 'fellow kids' he can't really have his friends and classmates involved in the big battles, which is probably why he's been off with a new character for a long-ass side quest that doesn't seem to add much to the plot except of great honking piles of cash. [EDIT] Read the latest chapter, subjected to wall of exposition and not a fan of developments. Unfollowing.

Yhis is a well written and engaging story. Im always very happy when I see another chapter is available. It has a good balance between personal improvement and making the world a better place. I'm looking forward to seeing where the author takes us and hopes they'll continue for a very long time.

I've been reading this story since the beginning and have loved every chapter. They are long chapters and come pretty often. I love the concept of the story itself as well as the characters. I enjoyed seeing the character development that even the main character wasn't expecting. There aren't too many stories on Royal Road that I really am excited to read but this is one. Overall great story that I would recommend and will definitely keep reading.

I REALLY wasn't expecting to like this. I'm a good way into the series and the one thing that has stood out to me is that the MC is actually a genuine, decent, loving human being. The author prefaced the story saying he dislikes harems (LOVE) and throughout the intro we get to learn that our MC is a guy who really cares about his friends (even if they're male, so many authors are afraid of writing a male MC who can be seen as 'emotional' cause that's too 'gay') and treats women with respect. This really shouldn't be my litmus for how good a series is but nonetheless this series PASSES. 

I'm enjoying how the story is unfolding. There's a lot that surprises me, but when the surprises are revealed, I can see how they were foreshadowed. It feels like the author had a well-defined plan and plot before they started writing/posting. There are very minor grammar issues here and there that don't detract from the story at all. Looking forward to seeing how the plotlines develop. There's enough there to keep the story complex, but not so many that I feel like I'm left hanging.

My only wish is there was more to read! Hooked already. I like both the magic system, and the characters. Looking forward to more. 

I didn't notice any glaring grammar or spelling issues, and the pacing is good. The main character is likeable, and I love the old man energy he puts off.

I love this story. Especially the characters, each one of them is unique in their own way. Adom is the most interesting character I have seen in a while now, he is a 80 years old man, but still behaves like a teenager. Eren definitely has the main character energy,  to see the development in his character. Cisco is the most hilarious and I love him.  Marco is the character I hate the most. I like every supporting character, professor zuni is the best. Can't wait to see your plans for book 2. Honestly, I kind of feel bad for the prince.

A pleasant mix of action, challenging progression, and life / world building that makes it all meaningful.

only a handful of chapters in and already glad I picked this one up. Exactly what i was looking for. Plenty of suspense and interesting and different characters. The world is also clearly though out and deep

Really enjoying this one - characters are well written and have depth, and the plot holds together well.

Adom's character, approach and growth are carefully crafted. The maturity and skills, as well as griefs from his previous life mix with some parts of being 12 and its done well in my opinion. 

I like the mix of academy, slice of life with action and skill development. Interested with the overarching narrative.

Thanks for writing - am v glad its a slow burn as i want to read lots more.
