Manshoon always struck me as the supervillain of Faerun. That's not a title to be taken lightly considering his rivals.

This is exceptionally interesting. Manshoon is probably one of my favourite characters in Forgotten Realms, and an ultimate villain in my campaigns.

Really do miss all the older villains like Manshoon, Fzoul, and Semmemon in the Zhentarim. Their schemes and plotting were great.

Always thought he was "existing" not "alive in the living since... ie that he was a Lich not unlike Ravenloft's Azalin.

I love seeing you do lore explanations on your world, Ed. Also were you consulted on the new movie? The thing that surprised me was how well it depicted your world right down to the languages that each race spoke.
