Quite a shame, especially when the game had a tournament not long ago. I personally liked the character designs, gameplay and soundtrack, but I guess it's not enough.

It certainly didn't help that the latest character is incredibly busted: Weapons switch with an ult which can one hit kill multiple characters at once. Not even Misaka from the railgun collab is this busted.

I refer to the case, not the phone. As commented in another reply, any drops will damage your phone because the case will not absorb the damage.

There's a gap between the machine and the socket. The premise owner taped the bottom area to block people, but he used his hands to reach the socket. That's how he turned off and on the machine.

They are part of the reason why this game is associated with hooliganism and toxic playerbase. Also, they are lucky that the machines were turned off instead of saying, getting reported to the police. There's even a notice on each machine.

Mitsua Diffusion One and Public Diffusion are the only "ethical" ones that I know of since they are trained off public domain works and works which have been given permission to be trained on.

The reason why I put ethical in quotation marks is that there is one fundamental problem which is unsolvable: The stagnation of art these models cause if they become commonly used.

IIRC if you are persistent and willing to spend money and time, once the scammer gets arrested and formally charged in a criminal court, you can sue the person in a civil suit to seek compensation.

Strength: you will be in an advantageous position in 80% of the tracks. Weakness: The remaining 20% will make or break you, especially the red turns

Before gacha games, there were otome games. Most of them aren't exported, though.

The data used to train AI art generation tools is often obtained through unauthorised means. Even tools like Mitsua Diffusion and Public Diffusion have a problem: If they are widely adopted, there is a risk of zombification of art, where "new" art are by reworking old art instead of making something entirely new.

I know that. It's one thing to say the utilization of AI in such software has ethical safeguards, it's another thing to claim that AI wasn't used in them.

The thing is, Vocaloid 6 uses machine learning. Miku herself doesn't, but other vocal synths do. There are also Synthesizer V and Voisona, both also utilize machine learning. So if this bothers you, you will have to scout older versions of these software which have been long discontinued. Make of that what you will.

What gamedev software it was made from? For Tyranobuilder/Tyranoscript games, use Joiplay instead.

Flagship killer is a misnomer because flagships still sell well with the existence of such devices.

Honor 400 Pro is not mid-range, but pre-flagship instead.

Water drop is better looking than a punch hole.

Devices with Snapdragon 4 and Helio chips are scams.

There's always emulation if you want to avoid all of that. Oh, if you want to avoid piracy, there are homebrew games for console emulators and freeware games for Windows emulators.

With the announced restriction on sideloading on certified Android devices starting from September 2026, the future of my video project on emulating Japanese freeware games on Android devices is in serious doubt. I can import Chinese Android phones and handhelds, but this is not feasible for most people in poorer countries. I am seriously considering making videos on Japanese browser games if workarounds are proven to be infeasible or impossible. But for now, I should be focusing on getting more emulation videos ready. At any rate, I am not abandoning my endeavor of bringing Japanese freeware games into Android.

Do these phones have SIRIM/MCMC approval? I asked one seller about this and the seller didn't answer.

We needed an international treaty on likenesses and moral rights yesterday.

After I announced the video where I emulated Niwasora: Dance of The Flying Chicken, the developer is amazed by the fact that his game can be played on an Android smartphone. I thought this was a risky endeavour, but with such an approval, I'm ready to bring more Japanese freeware games to Android devices. Maybe if I have more budget I can bring games hosted in Minna no Game Parade as well to a high-end device.

  1. Restoration of old or damaged photos

  2. Better post production in movies using stunt doubles

  3. Clothing tryouts without wearing them

  4. Fashion photography

  5. Packaging design

Though for items 3 to 5, they are object deepfakes instead of human deepfakes.

While deepfakes are mostly used for nefarious purposes, at least there are, theoretically speaking, uses which don't cause harm.

E20 for traffic sneaking and collision resistance. Charger for heavy weight and decent pushing power.

Veteran player over 15+ years here.

The sudden movement resulting from the slam can and does catch inexperienced players off guard, on top of the intimidation factor that will require experience and mental strength to overcome. Unfortunately, this is incredibly common, at least in my country (Malaysia). I personally detest such a dick move.

Does this controller supports directinput on Android? Some of the PC games I emulate on Winlator either don't work or the control scheme becomes awkward when an Xinput controller is used.
