From 1.5 hours down to 39 minutes of CI/CD test execution ⏱️ At #Jit4Tech 2025, Maciej Adamski (Solution Architect) showed how to approach test pipeline performance systematically, not intuitively. Instead of jumping straight into optimization, the team started with a full audit of tests, logs, and CI runs. Step-by-step analysis revealed common bottlenecks that were actually slowing the pipeline down: tests with no real business value, duplicated scenarios, blocking async tests, and megabytes of unnecessary logs in a single run. What made the difference were small, targeted changes: reducing tests and logging, cleaning up asynchronous execution, and simplifying environment startup. No system rebuild, no team scaling, and no quality trade-offs. This talk was a strong reminder of one key principle: 👉 diagnose first, optimize second. He shared real project examples, talked about scaling, and explained why this framework can be both loved and… challenging. As I reflect on my first year as CEO at Fjuel, I’m proud of what we achieved. Over the past year, we’ve taken Fjuel from being a startup to becoming a professional company with real market traction 🚀. A clear proof point is the five contracts signed in the second half of the year 📈 — something we’re truly proud of. We’ve built a strong development setup together with Jit Team, and established a solid and trusted partnership with Step Solutions 🤝. These collaborations have been key in getting us to where we are today. I’ve had the opportunity to meet customers and prospects across Europe, and to participate in several conferences and industry events 🌍. At this special time of year, we show that the human factor of IT goes far beyond technological projects. 🎅 Our Christmas fundraising campaign has come to an end - with tangible results! We raised PLN 16,926, and the Jit Team Management Board doubled this amount. As a result, PLN 33,852 was allocated to the purchase of specific, much-needed items for charitable organizations and support facilities!🎁 With the collected funds, we purchased everyday-use equipment, hygiene products, food supplies, and essential furnishings that directly support children, seniors, families in crisis, as well as people who are ill or experiencing homelessness. The aid reached facilities in Gdynia, Warsaw, Rzeszów, and Kraków. Thanks to this initiative, more than 740 people will receive support. This week we’re celebrating an important milestone - a full decade of Tomasz Klepacki being part of Jit Team! 💛🎉 Tomek joined Jit Team thanks to recommendations from other Jiters, and from the very beginning it was clear that this was a perfect match! When fresh technology meets young, knowledge-hungry creators, great things start to happen. 🚀 As part of #Jit4Tech, together with Łukasz Ciskowski and Mikołaj Cygert, we explored how far one can get in just a month working with MCP - a technology that has only recently entered the market. The result? 🤔 A fully functioning MCP server that actively supports our recruitment team by automatically retrieving job postings and matching them to candidate profiles with the help of LLMs. But the best part is that this entire project was built by… four high school students. A pioneering environment, tons of learning, agile experimentation, hands-on work with AI - all backed by strong mentor support. This project is a great reminder that:   👉 modern technologies make it possible to build real solutions quickly  👉 even beginners can create functional tools, and the right tech stack doesn’t always require heavy investment!
