SysOp Havens BBS
Do you remember your Dad on his computer for hours on end in the early 90's? What was he doing? What was the big deal? Well, he was most likely connected to a BBS over the phone. Want to see what that was like? Connect to havens.synchro.net and find out. Download Syncterm and add this address to port 23 telnet or 2222 ssh then connect. It's that easy. Connect to Havens BBS right now and join in the FUN!!
I've noticed BBS users are also SysOps. That said how do we get new users interested in the BBS scene? Seems to me SysOps are hardly "New Users".
Command and Conquer was my Number one game back in the day! I ran in in DOS and Windows. No I use Lubuntu and can't install it without jumping through hoops. Its ported to every damn OS. What's wrong Devs. Ubuntu not good enough for you?
The Snap shit don't work neither so don't respond it that' what your going to tell me
Havens BBS is looking for new users. If your new to BBS give this board a try. The Sysop is always available to answer any questions in real time (Chat) or email. Access the board via the web page or better yet telnet to port 23.
Try connecting to an old school BBS. Looking for new members to help make the BBS something special. Easy sign up. A few simple questions and access on the first logon. Telnet to port 23 Use ssh 2222 after you create an account.
Hey. None of you BBS guys can use an extra shell account? There was a time when I would have stood on my head for one. Anyway this is not a BBS per say. It's a shell provider with personal web page telnet in/out, newsgroups, programming languages. Maybe you've heard of them at Grex.org or Cyberspace.org?? Any just fire up your SSH client and connect to and just follow the prompts. For details on what goes on the goto
