KiwiFlare (soon: Tartarus Feedback)

  • 🔧 The new disks are in and syncing. There may be attachment related issues until this is complete. (4.9T / 22.1T as of 8:15pm EST)
Just wanted to say that it's been working great for the past while, even throughout the DDoS attacks, great job. My only nitpick is that the KiwiFlare screen doesn't look right on mobile, the text and images are too small.
Yes, I have also noticed that on mobile. But it was properly sized for mobile screens before, so I believe this is a recent regression, and should be an easy CSS-fix when time allows.

Kiwi Flare gets triggered every couple of minutes. Replying to posts is super hard because of it. Anyone have the same issue?

Same thing is happening to me.

Pages are loading fine and the Kiwiflare process is resolving quickly.

But I'm getting tons of "Oops, you've received a console error" prompts anytime I go to post anything requiring lots of page reloads on Clearnet.

I'm trying to work out if KF is being a sped, or if it just hates me personally. I seem to be getting a challenge every minute or so, but it might be because it knows I'm a bong.

If it's just a response to troons DDOSing then fair enough.

Hey @Null -

The Babylon Bee folks are under attack and while they have some decent developers, they're way out of their depth dealing with this. I pointed them to haproxy-protection, but if you have anything else you've publicly shared, or wouldn't mind sharing, dan@babylonbee.com is the lead dev. Thanks!

I get periods where it is an influx of Kiwi Flare checks every few moments, and then moments like now, where it’s almost impossible to get Kiwi Flared

I am. It affects reacts as well. What I am currently doing is keeping a second tab open and if I've been reading a single page for a while and what I presume is a timeout is likely to have occurred, I just hit reload on the other tab and give it a second then I hit reply.

I might switch to onion for a bit and see how that goes. I am using a VPN of course so that might necessitate more frequent checks?

I've been getting white pages, where nothing loads. Refreshing doesn't work, waiting ten minutes and trying again usually does the trick.

Redis (the new backend) is dropping keys randomly and I do not see why. It saves to the disk correctly, reloads data correctly, I removed the TTL, there's no logs for keys being deleted. I'm not really sure what to think.

I've just been dealing with it as Null has a lot on his plate, but this works very well, thanks.
