I don’t need a man.

I can pay my own bills. I can fix things in my house. I can open my own jars. I can protect myself. I can have a fulfilling career, friendships, hobbies, and life without a man being part of it.

And that’s not a radical statement. That’s just reality for most women in 2026.

We’re not living in a time where women need men to survive anymore. We have our own money. Our own homes. Our own independence. We don’t need a man to provide for us, protect us, or give us status in society.

For most of human history, women needed men. Not because we wanted them, but because we had no choice. Women couldn’t own property, couldn’t have bank accounts, couldn’t get jobs that paid enough to live on. Marriage wasn’t about love. It was about survival.

But that’s not the world we live in anymore. Women are educated. We work. We earn our own money. We can live independently without needing a man to make it possible.

And some people see this as a problem. They see women’s independence as a threat, and that feminism has “ruined” relationships by making women not need men anymore.
