Litmus test a la vista! Translation: Of course "AI" for everything, for everybody, everywhere, anytime etc. etc. etc. is only the vendors' interest, their projected future, and where they expect their profit, market domination, and concentration of power to increase, and not how the present must be or what people determine they need or want to do or be in the future. "AI" companies are a zero after the comma without people using their products. Next time, when someone says: "AI is here to stay!" "Students will need it in the future!" "The cat is out of the bag!" "That ship has sailed!" etc., say confidently: "Don't be pessimistic! Why should the future be like that!? That's what the AI vendors want from you: believing it! But that must not be that way! No, of course not! "

"Nadella warns"... Doesn't sound like a warning to me, more like optimism.

Yep, there's def a gap between what companies push vs what we actually need.
