You'll be happy to know every subsequent sequel does this, with each new ending twist becoming more absurd and implausible but treated with the same weight.
The “syringe needle trap” (is it a trap? Is anything in Saw 2 really a trap?) is worth a full star alone...
As i struggled to stay awake during this bore-fest this section was very useful for me and i may even skip straight to those bits for the rest of the franchise

I wanted to say that it was insulting to the audience, but then again this was popular enough to get a ton of sequels, so maybe they actually know exactly the level of their audience....
