Campaign Application Conditions

Rakuten members who meet the conditions of [1] and [2] during the campaign period above.

[1] Apply for "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT" through one of the following methods:

(1) New application
(2) Applying for MNP transfer from other mobile carriers
(3) After changing your plan from the "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan "price plan, apply.
(4) After changing your plan from the "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan (Data Type) "price plan, apply.

※If you want to change your plan from "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan (Data Type)" to another plan, you need to first switch to "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan". After starting to use the SAIKYO Plan, you can then change your plan from "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan" to "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT Plan". (If you change your plan from "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan (Data Type)" to "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan" within the same month, you will not be charged for "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan (Data Type)" or "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan".)

(5) After changing (transferring) price plan from Rakuten Mobile (docomo/au network), apply.

*If you wish to change from Rakuten Mobile (docomo/au network) price plan, please change your plan to the "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan" first, and then change your plan from "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan" to "Rakuten Saikyo U-NEXT" after you have started using the Saikyo Plan. (If you change from Rakuten Mobile (docomo/au network) price plan to the "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan" within the same month, you will not be charged for the "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan," but you will be charged for Rakuten Mobile (docomo/au network).)

What is the plan start date?

• For new applications
  ※The plan start date will be the earlier of (1) or (2).

  1. The day we receive notification that the delivery is complete.
  2. The date when Rakuten Mobile was first offered on the plan (SIM card, eSIM)

• If MNP transfer from other mobile carriers

  The date when Rakuten Mobile was first offered on the plan (SIM card, eSIM)

• When you change your plan from "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan" or "Rakuten SAIKYO Plan (Data Type)"

  The date when Rakuten Mobile was first offered on the plan (SIM card, eSIM)

• If you change (transfer) your price plan from Rakuten Mobile (docomo/au network)

  The date when Rakuten Mobile was first offered on the plan (SIM card, eSIM)

Campaign Benefits

During the campaign period, the subscription fee for "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT" is 2,980 yen/mo. (3,278 yen/mo. incl. tax)

※After the campaign period ends, the fee will revert to the normal rate of 3,980 yen/mo. (4,378 yen/mo. incl. tax).

Campaign benefits not applicable.

The campaign benefits will not apply if any of the following conditions are met:

• If payment for our services is not made by the due date, resulting in arrears or unpaid amounts.
• If the application is canceled due to deficiencies in identity verification of the contract holder/user or deficiencies in MNP procedures, etc.
• If you have not started using "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT "
  For details on how to start using the plan, please refer to the SIM card version start guide or eSIM version start guide.
• If you violate the terms and conditions set by us or Rakuten Group, Inc.
• In addition, if we reasonably determine that the applicant is not qualified to be a member of Rakuten Mobile, Inc.​

• This campaign is subject to change, cancellation, or extension without prior notice. Thank you for your understanding.
• Campaign reward eligibility may be excluded or limited to the total prize amount within the scope of the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations or the Telecommunications Business Act if the customer is participating in other simultaneous campaigns.

• If you applied for "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT" without using Rakuten ID you will need to upgrade to Rakuten member

■ Deadline to switch from "U-NEXT Monthly Plan" to "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT"

  ※The date when you receive the "Rakuten Mobile Plan Change Procedure Completion Notification" after applying for a plan change on "my Rakuten Mobile".
• If you change (transfer) your plan from Rakuten Mobile (docomo/au network) price plan
  The date when "Rakuten Mobile (Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT)" was launched on the plan (SIM card, eSIM)
  *The service will begin on the day you receive the "Rakuten Mobile plan change procedure completion notification" after applying for a plan change through my Rakuten Mobile.

  *The "U-NEXT Monthly Plan" refers to an all-in-one service plan that includes unlimited viewing of content, unlimited magazine reading, and 1,200 points.
  ​ ​* Benefits are not applicable to Paravi Basic Plan, Soccer Pack, NHK On Demand, NHK Marugoto Mihodai Pack, and those who only rent or purchase various content.
  ​ ​*Applies to monthly plans of 2,189 yen or more.

• Rakuten Points are awarded by Rakuten Mobile.
• Rights cannot be transferred.

■ Point validity period

6 months including the Point awarding date

• Time-limited points
• Points used before the expiration date will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation or amount adjustment after the expiration date.

Campaign benefits not applicable.

The campaign benefits will not apply if any of the following conditions are met:

• If payment for our services is not made by the due date, resulting in arrears or unpaid amounts.
• If the number of times the campaign applies exceeds once per person, it will not be eligible.
• If you apply for the initial contract cancellation of "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT"
• If your application is canceled due to insufficient identity/user verification or insufficient MNP procedures
• - If you do not start using "Rakuten SAIKYO U-NEXT"

• If you have cancelled Rakuten member before points were awarded
• If you violate the terms and conditions set by us or Rakuten Group, Inc.
