【Virtual】Iceland National Day (Recorded video)
*A recorded video of "Iceland National Day", which took place at the EXPO National Day Hall "Ray Garden" on 29th May, will be archived streamed on Virtual Expo platform. Iceland Day offers visitors a chance to experience Icelandic culture, its commitment to peace and gender equality, and its forward-looking vision for the future. The day begins with collaborative sessions focusing on dialogue and learning, and transitions into cultural celebrations in the afternoon, with an address by the President of Iceland, Ms Halla Tómasdóttir, and a live performance by Icelandic artists. Performing for the first time in Japan since Fuji Rock 2023, Ásgeir, alongside the uniquely gifted JFDR – often described as a successor to Björk – and an acclaimed composer Gabríel Ólafs, will bring the day to a powerful close with a special musical performance.

AI Suitcase, an autonomous guidance robot for the visually impaired [9/6]
AI Suitcase" is an autonomous navigation robot under development to assist the visually impaired in their mobility. It has an internal computer, sensors, and motors, and can safely guide users to their destinations while avoiding people and obstacles. The Consortium for the Development of Next-generation Mobility Assistive Technology has conducted demonstration tests at large shopping malls, airports, and the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Odaiba, Tokyo. At this year's Expo, a larger-scale demonstration experiment will be conducted throughout the duration of the event. Anyone, not just the visually impaired, can choose from several routes around the venue to experience a tour using an AI suitcase.

The Expo sauna, "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI," is located at the western edge of the venue, overlooking Osaka Bay. This open, scenic waterfront sauna offers an immersive experience that embodies the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives. Petal-shaped air membrane cushions come together to form a single bud, creating a beautifully dynamic structure that stretches toward the sun, brimming with vitality. The energy of the sun, immersed in the air of the sea, plants, and wind, pours down onto the "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI (Sun Bud)." The delicate yet powerful membrane creates an environment filled with natural energy, harmonizing our minds and bodies and guiding us back to the core of our humanity. The space, enveloped by an ETFE film* membrane that allows natural light to filter through, glows gracefully with LED lighting, harmonizing with the ever-changing nature of Osaka Bay across the seasons and time. The sauna offers a completely new 'co-creation' space, embodying a future society that values “warmth and harmony.” *ETFE film: A high-performance fluoropolymer material that has been processed into a film. 【Austria】Viennese Ball Dance Weekend
Austria - the land of art and culture - and its capital, Vienna, are world-renowned for their glamorous ball traditions. Perhaps many of you have once dreamed of stepping into that elegant world. At this Austrian Pavilion Official Program, we will present the Viennese Waltz danced to the famous piece The Blue Danube by Johann Strauss, along with the lively group dance known as the Quadrille. You can also experience some simple waltz steps for yourself at a mini workshop. The dances will be performed by members of Japan-Austria Society for Cultural Exchange ~ Kleine Krone, which has been promoting Austrian culture and Viennese ball tradition for 25 years. Come and experience the enchanting world of the Viennese ball, brought to life by beautiful gowns and elegant tailcoats, presented by the Austrian Pavilion. When you approach this talking MYAKU-MYAKU, it will react, so please come to FLV to meet it and enjoy yourself. ▽How to participate: Tickets will be issued on the day of the event. ・Tickets will be issued in the morning from 10:00 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. ・There is a limit to the number of tickets that can be issued. WAKU-WAKU Future Tour Stamp Rally in the Future Life Zone
A Future Exploration Stamp Rally will be held in the Future Life Zone*1, featuring collaboration among four facilities. Following the positive reception of "Women's Week," a special commemorative stamp passport will be distributed on September 6th and 7th. There are five stamps designed by artist Panmela Castro, each featuring a female animal motif. According to her, the illustrations were created specifically for the Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai World Expo, and represent the idea that women and girls can be anything they want, without barriers. The animals include a parrot, capybara, jaguar, Amazon river dolphin, and anteater, each representing a profession such as architect, entrepreneur, farmer, or scientist.

Women's Pavilion WA Space Design for Trees as living beings: "A bench that reminds us -The circle of life-" Project - What are the thoughts about forests and trees embodied in the project's benches?
"A bench that reminds us -The circle of life-" is a project by H₂O Retailing, co-created with diverse businesses and local residents in Osaka Prefecture. It aims to create long-term demand for wood and increase engagement by producing benches, holding workshops, and managing media. This project has been selected for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan "Co-Design Challenge" program, and benches produced through this project are also installed at the venue. In this event, we will invite the designers of the benches to talk about their thoughts behind the designs and their feelings towards forests and trees.
