It means empowering individuals by equipping them with creativity, skills and the ability to innovate across different fields. This raises the question: how can we create opportunities that not only nurture individual talent but also unite communities through shared learning and collaboration? The challenge in exploring new educational methods is to create environments that do more than inspire. Cultural spaces offer invaluable opportunities to rethink education. They can move beyond simply passing on knowledge and become dynamic places of co-creation, where learning is inclusive, community-driven and transformative. The Netherlands Pavilion - A New Dawn on Common GroundDate and time04/08/2025 09:00~18:30

In addition, a communication function allows the status of trash accumulation to be monitored from a PC or smartphone, enabling efficient trash collection operations. With these functions, technology is transformed into "circulating power" to realize sustainable urban development. As a solution to the problem of littering, especially that associated with over-tourism, which has recently become an issue in many places, the system is widely used in public spaces such as shopping areas, in front of train stations, on public roads, and in parks, as well as in private facilities such as shopping facilities, amusement facilities, and stadiums.ROBOT&MOBILITY STATIONDate and time04/08/2025 09:00~21:00

Using innovative technology, the event at EXPO's Festival Station on August 9th aims to provide a platform for people around the world to interact musically in real time. This hybrid concert will combine an online choir and a live band, with music production and musical direction designed to account for the audio delays that occur in online communication. In today's world, you can access daily news from the other side of the globe with just one click. We believe that if more people make friends around the world and view global news as their own, it will help reduce wars and discrimination. The goal of this event is to create global personal connections through online music, so that when people encounter heartbreaking international news, they will think of their friends in those places instead of just scrolling past it. Music has the power to move and unite people, regardless of language, status, or culture. Songs for World Peace is a global initiative involving musicians from about 100 countries, who create and perform songs about peace in their native languages and from their own perspectives. We are committed to spreading the message of world peace through the power of music. We will continue our mission even after the Expo and are looking to partner with educational institutions and organizations from all over the world.Future Life Village(Future Life Experience & "TEAM EXPO Pavilion")Date and time04/08/2025 10:00~21:00

It is a significant factor that hinders organizational gender equity and diversity. Maintaining an organization where gender equity and diversity is ensured is essential for each member to be themselves and demonstrate their full potential. This lecture aims to deepen understanding of the knowledge and strategy necessary to break unconscious bias through specific scenarios, and to learn how bias occurs, how to recognize it, and how to overcome it within the organization. Hideko Nishioka is currently Professor and Vice Director of Osaka University’s Diversity & Inclusion Center. She previously worked as a journalist for Mainichi Newspaper and as a staff member of Takamatsu City Women’s Center. In 2018, she invited the director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Inclusion in Science & Engineering Leadership Institute (WISELI) to conduct the “Shearching for Excellence and Diversity Workshop” in Japan, thereby introducing to Japanese institutions a set of procedures recognized by the US National Science Foundation as a leading model for hiring procedures. She conducts field research on gender equity at leading universities in the US, UK, and Germany and has published articles in journals such as Hougaku Seminar (Nihon Hyoronsha). She has also published Japanese translations of the books, Breaking the Bias Habit: A Workshop to Promote Gender Equity , and Searching for Excellence & Diversity: A Guide for Search Committees. Her main research fields are gender law and policy, violence against women and children, and disaster and genderequalty, all grounded in a human rights perspective.Belgian PavilionDate and time04/08/2025 14:30~15:30
