The ‘Eshi 100 - Contemporary Japanese Illustration’ is an exhibition featuring works created especially for the event by popular artists who are active at the forefront of Japan’s pop culture. This popular exhibition, which has a large number of fans in Japan and abroad, will be presented as a special part of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. This time, we will look back the history of the ‘Eshi 100 - Contemporary Japanese Illustration,’ which has been held annually since 2011, and hold the special exhibition by the theme of ‘very Japanese.’

This is an exhibition of calligraphy by approximately 150 calligraphers belonging to the Sankei International Calligraphy Association, a calligraphy organization established in 1984. EXPO SAUNA TAIYO NO TSUBOMI
The Expo sauna, "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI," is located at the western edge of the venue, overlooking Osaka Bay. This open, scenic waterfront sauna offers an immersive experience that embodies the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives. Petal-shaped air membrane cushions come together to form a single bud, creating a beautifully dynamic structure that stretches toward the sun, brimming with vitality. The energy of the sun, immersed in the air of the sea, plants, and wind, pours down onto the "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI (Sun Bud)." The delicate yet powerful membrane creates an environment filled with natural energy, harmonizing our minds and bodies and guiding us back to the core of our humanity. The space, enveloped by an ETFE film* membrane that allows natural light to filter through, glows gracefully with LED lighting, harmonizing with the ever-changing nature of Osaka Bay across the seasons and time. The sauna offers a completely new 'co-creation' space, embodying a future society that values “warmth and harmony.” *ETFE film: A high-performance fluoropolymer material that has been processed into a film. Eating not only satisfies nutritional needs but also provides enjoyment and excitement. On the other hand, many people are unable to eat the same food as everyone else due to ageing or illness, which weakens their ability to chew and swallow food. NACOM, which sells commercial food products, has developed the food of the future, which are delicious, fun and safe for everyone to eat. Come see, taste, and enjoy with all five senses the dishes that have been carefully designed to look and smell realistic, such as a tender steak that can be crushed with a light push of a spoon.

When we feel something is delicious, it's not just the taste that's important; it's also largely influenced by our own memories, health, and lifestyle. When you imagine yourself in the future, in what situations will you be eating something that makes you say "that's delicious"? And why? We will provide you with an exhibition and experiences that will get you thinking about such things. The images and thoughts that visitors will arrive at may be the same as the thoughts that NARIKOMA holds dear. What we hope to achieve with this exhibition is for those who see it to broaden their imaginations and come away with their own answers. What is delicious? What is the shape of food? And what is the future? We have prepared mechanisms that will cause many questions to arise and then disappear as you view the exhibition.

UNI-ONE Experience Tour in Future Life village
Experience Tour of the “UNI-ONE,” a seated personal mobility vehicle developed through Honda's robotics research, will be held at the Future Life Village. *Reservations for the riding experience are accepted at the venue. *Reservations: Morning session reservations are accepted from 10:00 a.m. Afternoon session reservations are accepted from 2:30 p.m (Lines will be formed from 2:00 p.m. Lines formed earlier than 2:00 p.m. will be invalid.) In principle, three UNI-ONE will be in operation, and up to three people may ride the UNI-ONE at one time. (The number of vehicles in operation is subject to change due to weather and other reasons. * Please note that the event may be canceled without prior notice due to weather. ［UNI-ONE Test Ride Conditions] Only those who fulfill the following conditions can participate. • Adults (at least 18 years old), or children ages 8 and up with the consent of an adult • Children aged 3 to 7 who are supported (accompanied) by an adult • Weight of 110kg (242 lbs.) or less • Not under the influence of drugs or alcohol • Not pregnant • Close-toed footwear (recommended but not strictly required) • Can move unassisted and maintain balance.
