This open, scenic waterfront sauna offers an immersive experience that embodies the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives. Petal-shaped air membrane cushions come together to form a single bud, creating a beautifully dynamic structure that stretches toward the sun, brimming with vitality. The energy of the sun, immersed in the air of the sea, plants, and wind, pours down onto the "TAIYO NO TSUBOMI (Sun Bud)." The delicate yet powerful membrane creates an environment filled with natural energy, harmonizing our minds and bodies and guiding us back to the core of our humanity. The space, enveloped by an ETFE film* membrane that allows natural light to filter through, glows gracefully with LED lighting, harmonizing with the ever-changing nature of Osaka Bay across the seasons and time. The sauna offers a completely new 'co-creation' space, embodying a future society that values “warmth and harmony.” *ETFE film: A high-performance fluoropolymer material that has been processed into a film. It is increasingly recognized for its potential to replace glass, offering new possibilities for architectural design. ※An event-style sauna experience guided by instructions from the staff. ※Please make sure to arrive on time. ※The event date may be subject to change on short notice due to maintenance work on the sauna room. ※The event details are subject to change without prior notice. In plastic greenhouse cultivation, we will promote plant growth and reduce fuel costs by switching from air heating with boilers to electric heating that directly heats the soil. In addition, through co-creation with strawberry farmers, we are able to efficiently support harvesting and improve sugar content while reducing CO2 emissions. We are taking on the challenge of solving issues through earth- and people-friendly agriculture by optimizing the use of electricity, water, and fertilizer through automatic temperature control and real-time data, aiming to improve the harvest cycle while minimizing the impact on the environment.Future Life ZoneOpen Time07/06/2025 10:00~21:00

We have begun developing new food products as a solution to the invasive species problems caused by wakame. We are working on developing a jam made with wakame, called "Wakame Jam," which includes citrus fruits such as sudachi, a specialty of Tokushima, and we have gone through many prototypes. We are committed to the taste of the finished product. To spread this new product, we participate in pitch events at schools and local events to communicate the appeal of wakame. A particularly notable event was the "Tokushima Expo" held in June in Tokushima, where we provided samples of our wakame jam for visitors to taste. In August, we began pre-selling the wakame jam at Tokushima Station and had a dedicated booth at the "Marugoto Festival 2024" held at a school, where we sold directly. Through these interactions with many visitors, we were able to directly communicate the value of wakame as food and our enthusiasm for the project. This student-led initiative breaks stereotypes about wakame and proposes new solutions to the problem of invasive species. Our actions are not just about wanting to "make a change," but about tackling problems through concrete actions.Future Life ZoneOpen Time07/06/2025 10:00~21:00

Through long-term agricultural experiences from sowing seeds to harvesting, cooking, and participating in local events, a cozy community with a fulfilling “story” is formed. In 2022, we started the first phase of the program with 5 members who were university students. With the participation of many elementary and kindergarten students, we are striving to form a community that includes not only the participants, but also their parents and staff. Over the three years of continuous efforts, there have been changes in both the participants and the project itself. Children have become more familiar with agriculture and vegetables, and are now actively communicating with us regardless of their age. Furthermore, the project as a whole has been able to co-create with the local community, farmers, universities, and companies involved in vegetables. Today's event will be an exhibition and mini-event related to our activities and agriculture. Please come and see how we have progressed together with children!Future Life ZoneOpen Time07/06/2025 10:00~21:00

For 3D food printer, Mottaizai will be reprocessed into a food ink. This ink with 3D printer could open up a new world of food with wonderful taste and appearance. Mottaizai waste will be reprocessed into paper materials for packaging. No waste is left with our challenge. Participants may have the oppotunity to think a food loss issue more than ever through our exhibition.
