Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit an elderly woman in a crosswalk on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain on Saturday.
The woman was hit shortly before 7 p.m. near 733 Centre St. and told police she was in the crosswalk at the time, according to a police report.
The woman, described by police as elderly, suffered a broken left leg, police said.
The driver did not stop and is being sought by police. The car was described as a grey 2004 Acura T1 with Massachusetts plates, according to a police report.
The investigation is ongoing.
