Our slogan, which has not changed since the beginning of OLC, which was born in Denver, USA, is "hospitality design."
"Hospitality" is to observe the other party carefully, think about their needs, and act with anticipation, so that the other party will be pleased and our feelings will be satisfied.
Based on this basic stance, OLC has been working on architecture for 50 years.
We believe that it is our mission to use this hospitality to tackle the common global issues summarized in the SDGs and the social problems that Japan faces. The premise is that the proposals for client requests are always positive from the perspective of solving social issues.

There are thoughts on all the opinions raised from each position in the company. We carefully listen to each and every one of their opinions, including those that are not directly related to architecture. As an expert, I will create study materials as necessary and move the project forward while adjusting the overall balance. We believe that working together with our clients to find the best landing point for the company is one of our most important duties.
The draft plan is usually submitted with some information within a week. After holding down the points that the other party wants to confirm, we will repeat the frequent catch balls in the middle and put together the deliverables without going back. In other phases as well, we are able to respond with a sense of speed by adopting rules to reduce lost work and an internal collaboration system.
Building a facility requires coordination not only with the contractor, but also with other contractors who supply the fixtures and signs, and the building manager if it is a building-in. From design to supervision, one of our specialties is to proceed with the project on schedule while maintaining close communication with many stakeholders. Also, even if you want to ask a designated designer only for the appearance, or if you only want advice from OLC, we will do our best to share the client's perspective and make the maximum contribution.
It goes without saying that we will not say it is impossible to a difficult request, and we will not simply say that if it is the case, give up on others. We look at the whole and search for places where we can compromise, and then draw the best conclusion. We will never forget our attitude of trying to find a solution that will make our clients happy.
While continuing to value our attitude of hospitality, I would like to actively challenge new fields as an initiative for the future.
