I was only aware of the site after they killed Near, the SNES emulator "higan" dev.

As someone who is also a software dev, an enby, has a trans BF, loves emulator, and a relatively frequent 4chan /pol/tard, I was highly disturbed and even scared by a site filled with such unadulterated and capable evil. From what I read Near was a careful individual with their own personal info, and yet...
It's cathartic seeing Josh's plead in its forum post. Judging from its tone it seems like it is on the verge of being lolcow itself.

Within this subreddit and the wider trans community I personally feel there’s a global force ready to do good for trans lives. Despite the campaign being over I have a feeling lots of people have energy to fight and don’t want to stop.
It’s worth noting that Keffals does not owe us any of her time as a political organiser. We should instead form campaigns and be activists on our own terms if we want to keep going.
