Power for our hometown, Mito.
Reiwa Natto launched on 10th July (so-called Natto Day), Reiwa 1.
Our founder was born in Mito, Ibaraki, which located in the north Kanto area. Although Mito is famous for Natto, there were no places to fully taste them. We love Natto and we believe it has the endless capability to empower our hometown. Our founder created the unit Natto Boys in 2015 and kept giving information such as Natto recipes on the website.
Then he thought we need someplace to enjoy the best Natto in Mito and make the people visiting here happy.
A lot of people supported us on crowdfunding to launch and we appreciate it. We promise to keep challenging with much respect for a Natto pioneer.

We believe in the great possibility of this superfood.
Natto, fermented soybeans, is a traditional superfood of Japan and contains lots of ingredients such as calcium, vitamin D, Vitamin K2, proteins and amino. They make our bones strong and boost our immune strength. Natto is made from soybeans, water, and Bacillus Natto. As research progresses in recent years, it was revealed Bacillus Natto has great possibilities for antibacterial effect, reducing blood clots risk, protection against carcinogenic substances, etc. It also contains an ingredient to make the skin beautiful. Natto is such an attractive superfood, isn’t it? We would like to let people all over the world know the power of Natto.

Reiwa Natto is not just a restaurant but a community connecting people. Our founder himself met so many people through selling Natto and thanks to them, we could keep challenging until today. And now we want to be a place where people gather from the world. The architect-designer is also from this area and we have pursued a space where everyone feels comfortable. Even those who visit Mito for the first time can enjoy the best time. In the shop next to the restaurant, you can purchase our original goods, Natto chips or Natto chocolates as souvenirs.
