Very dysfunctional and unhealthy type 7 state. It's dominant trait is a "nothing is impossible, if you dream big enough we'll always find a way" Ne mindset as Joel Garreau points out in his 1981 book "The Nine Nations Of North America", and the state "does" so many varied things, from the entertainment world, to fruit and dairy, to computers, apps and social networking sites, to tourism and recreation to college education to military training, that it immediately comes across, not as a 3 but as a 7 environment. But as housing prices have skyrocketed, as wildfires burn more and more of the state, as homelessness problems increase, as ethnic tension between various groups created chronic distrust (and as we saw with the L.A. Riots, violent chaos), as the streets of San Francisco turn into the world's largest public toilet, as the traffic prevents you from getting anywhere in a timely manner and is intensely stressful, (one drive through a downtown L.A. freeway was enough for me. PACKED LIKE SARDINES), more and more people have left the state. God only knows if it'll ever turn around and become the paradise it used to be.

Yes I do agree that Cali is an ESFP state (imho). Its exuberance, popular monuments, and the lavish lifestyle totally screams out Entertainer vibes all the way.

If we're typing stereotypically then basing it off of SoCal stereotypes would make the most sense, cuz of LA/hollywood. being a former Socaler I'd say Se dom makes a lot of sense but the image of a LA resident that comes to mind would have more Fe than Fi.

As for San Francisco/bay area, Ne dom makes more sense. Idk if Ti/Fe or Fi/Te tho. San Diego ENFP tho
