• Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
• Works in a Waterfall or Iterative development environment.
• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing and debugging.
• Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
• Minimum of 2 years of design and development experience as a software developer.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals, Object Oriented Design, algorithm design and Data Structures.
• Strong Web Application development experience preferably using Spring, Java, Node.js and JavaScript.
• Demonstrated development experience in client-side technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, ECMAScript, SASS, LESS, ReactJS, Angular and/or server-side technologies and frameworks such as NodeJS, Spring Cloud, Java.
• Experience in Design patterns and in implementing RESTful designs.
• Experience in Test Driven Development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in Configuration Management, DevOps automation.
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS systems.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Netflix OSS stack (Redis, RabbitMQ, Hystrix, Ribbon, Eureka etc.).
• Experience with MongoDB, Spring Cloud.
• Experience in performance testing and tuning.
Language Requirements:
• English: Fluent Level.
• Japanese: Native Level.
