With the help of his lab assistants and many many Igors, he brings a new movie free of charge, however his efforts to further the causes of SCIENCE are always in danger from the machinations of Rick Edison, Mario Marconi, and other science rivals.

Dr. Bob Tesla, the less famous brother of Nikola Tesla (whose brain is a constant companion during the shows) was given a lab behind an unmarked door in the Physics Lab at OSU. To keep that state-of-the-Serbian-art lab, he must show a monster movie every month at the Gateway Film Center!
Nurse Feratu is Dr. Bob's willing Assistant. You can see her most often assisting with merchandise!
Dr. Rick Edison is the great-great-great-not so great grandnephew of Thomas Edison. He has an honorary degree from Transylvania University. He is also Dr. Bob Tesla’s arch-nemesis and has sworn to kill all of Dr. Bob’s Igors. Currently Dick...I mean Rick, has an on-again/off-again partnership with Mario Marconi against Dr. Bob.
Mario Marconi first appeared in Episode 25, though we heard of him through Rick Edison for several months. Marconi's plans typically involve stealing Dr. Bob's inventions to claim as his because Marconi doesn't have any inventing skills of his own. Things go missing with alarming frequency when Marconi is around! Marconi was even able to steal Rick Edison away from Dr. Bob when they had organized a rare truce.
