    Kirkuk Court sentenced Rebwar Talabani, head of the Governorate Council, to six months in prison in absentia. Poor Talabani, he was merely a tool in the hands of KDP/Barzani in referendum, KDP receiving posts in Baghdad & Talabani pays the price. Totally politicised decision.

    The Erbil Branch of the Directorate even claimed that "crime" against women had been significantly reduced over the past 10 months when, in fact, complaints had increased significantly. There were nearly 3000 complaints but only 398 arrests

    The Kurds do appreciate what the -led has done, but the intervention was to stop a genocide, & now the withdrawal is putting the Kurds at the edge of another genocide by Turkey. US came to remove a massacre threat, & its withdrawal will be followed by a massacre.

    Altho was a US enemy, but one thing legitimised US intervention in fight against ISIS in 2014 in : ppls of wud face a genocide. Now, if withdraws, Kurds will face a massacre, but not from a US enemy but a US ally. It's US responsibility to neutralise this
